The Ninja Engagement Session
I have a dear friend and co-worker named Kim. She’s my office neighbor, an expert conversationalist about random things, owner of a great laugh, and a fantastic bowling buddy. So, one day last week, she asked me if I knew where the caricature artist at Downtown Disney was. Now, I’m not usually surprised at the random Disney questions I get asked, since I am a huge Disneyland buff, but that one was a little out there. However, I said that yes, I did know, and proceeded to tell her how to get there. She then asked if I could go...

It was such a wonderful night, filled with all her beautiful family and friends. Here are the photos from her party. Thanks, Martinez Family, for letting me be a part of her special night!

I finally went on a vacation! My family and I spent a week and a half cruising the Pacific Northwest, drinking in God’s beauty in Seattle, Juneau, Skagway, Ketchikan, and Victoria B.C. Two days into my trip one of my best friends died. I agonized over the decision of whether to continue on my trip or find a way to go home for her service. See, Cyndi and her husband, Scott, were supposed to come with us on this trip before the cancer made that impossible. I think a part of me always knew she’d go Home while I was gone. I almost...

Several hours and conversions later, here it is: The Seminal Production of “You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown.” Featuring: Joey Denges as Charlie Brown Matt Hulet as Snoopy Luke Martin as Schroeder Brian Cochrane as Linus Van Pelt Jessica Mahan as Lucy Van Pelt Amy Waggle as...

I was so blessed to deliver our morning message at Valley this past Sunday. We’re in the middle of The Story, which is this fantastic program by Zondervan that takes the Bible and puts it in chronological form, focusing on the linear story of God’s relationship with man. We were in Chapter 21, which tells the story of Ezra, Nehemiah, Malachi, and the rebuilding of Jerusalem’s wall. If you’re so inclined, you can take a listen to the sermon here. (We opened up with a clip from the Disney Pixar movie “Up”...

Saturday was an eventful day: Cinco de Mayo, Supermoon, and the Doran/Gunski wedding. Candy (the Bride) and William (the Groom) are friends of the Webb family (whom I shot last week). It was a lovely wedding, and I was so glad that the landscaping at Valley had been re-done in time for their...
