Never Say Never

I really don’t like Multi-Level Marketing.
It’s turned so many of my friends into product shills that my Facebook feed is a never-ending stream of That Crazy Wrap Thing, Herbalife, P90X, a million different kinds of health drinks, Jamberry Party requests, and Lila Rose hair doodads.
But today I did something I swore I’d never do. I joined an MLM and became a doTERRA Essential Oils Wellness Advocate.
I did it for the discounts, okay? I was going to buy this stuff anyway (because I’ve experienced good things about homeopathic remedies in the past), and if I bought the Family Physician Kit (which had all the stuff I was interested in buying anyway), the sign-up cost was included.
I solemnly swear that I will not shill out this stuff on Facebook, Twitter, or trade on our friendship so you’ll feel obligated to come to some party where I and my weird, oiled-up friends will harass you until you buy a bottle of lavender oil just to get me off your back.
If it works, I’ll tell you. If not, I’ll tell you.
Do I believe I’ll make millions working from home? Absolutely not. If you want to buy some essential oils will I sell them to you? Absolutely yes. (Mama didn’t raise no fool!)
My “Hippy Oils” (as my friend who signed me up calls them) should be here in about a week. Guess we’ll find out then whether or not this was a good idea.
Not-Quite-Brainwashedly Yours,
Jess
P.S. If you’re interested in finding out more about Essential Oils, check out AromaWeb. It’s been a great resource for me as I’ve been investigating whether this EO thing is just a mess of hogwash or if it really works.
Welcome!!
Sites I appreciate for oils info are also http://www.eeoils.me or http://www.aromaticscience.com
My wife has been doing it for over a year. She’s making a business of it to be sure, but we started it because we use oils ALL THE TIME. They have definitely worked for us in many ways!
