God is Good.
Today has been a crappy day.
Got a really awful, messy email this morning. Took my car in for an oil change that ended up being $500 of required maintenance, plus found out that I needed a brand new set of tires. When I got to the tire place, they didn’t take Amex, which is the only credit card I have.
Attack. Attack. Attack. And all before noon.
But God has been impressing on me that He is supposed to fight my battles for me. I need to trust Him to take care of me and provide for all my needs. So I just decided to take a deep breath and see what He would do.
I asked for guidance with the situation at work, and almost immediately got it. Part of my needed repairs will be covered under my expired warranty because I’ve been having the problem for a couple of years. My friend Dave told me about a tire place that was $400 cheaper than my dealer wanted to charge. Then, when I tried to scramble to get the money for the tires, the guy told me he would go ahead and take my card, despite the processing fees.
I am overwhelmed at how God showed up.
