Senior Portraits in Downtown Pomona

So today’s a Saturday and I woke up early!  Dreadful, I know, but definitely for a good reason.  Today was Bearbait’s Senior Portrait Session!  Who’s Bearbait?  Well, her real name’s Ashley, and she’s our unofficial “tech intern” at the church (as well as an all-around awesome girl!).  She’s graduating from Don Lugo high school this week.

We shot a little bit around the Chino area, but we ended up with the bulk of the shoot in downtown Pomona.  That was an absolute blast for me, since I’d never been down there before.  There’s so much great brickwork and architecture down there.  They really don’t design modern buildings with the kind of character you see in the buildings of the early1900’s.  I love vintage brickwork.  There’s something about the color profile of vintage brickwork that immediately creates interesting photos.  So this was a lot of fun for me.

Here are a few shots from today.  I’ll post more later, but I just couldn’t wait to share how pretty Ashley’s photos are!  Congratulations, Bearbait!  I’m so proud of you!
